SCAM ALERT!
If you are like me and like to see the profiles of people that reblog you, be wary of suspicious pop-ups going around asking you to enter your Tumblr credentials again.
They are not affiliated with Tumblr, so do not give them your information; you will most likely be hacked out of your account. Just so you know.

Today I have received over 100+ likes/reblogs on my dash. Apparently a couple of members caught wind of some old (and newer) posts and, as you know, one reblog leads to another and so on.
Quite happy, anyhow. Thank you all!

A really interesting infographic detailing a bunch of facts about how Tumblr is doing.
Here are some quick facts:

The Y U NO guy dancing was the best part of the video.

Want to start following more interesting people on Tumblr but I don’t want to scroll down my dash for more than an hour (I have the tendency, or compulsion, to scroll until I catch up with yesterday’s dash). Gonna start unfollowing some people that only post the same, random things every week—honestly, it’s kind of annoying how it’s only done for popularity and not really because they feel like putting it.
Let’s go!

Wasn’t it just a few months ago that Tumblr was telling us to protest censorship from bills like SOPA and PIPA, then they go about proposing their own forms of censorship when it comes to individuals who express interest in body harm and mutilation?
No censorship means no censorship. It doesn’t just apply to governments; it applies to every individual, company, and organization. I have a deep respect and love for Tumblr, but these two staff posts contradict themselves.
Here’s my take: Blogs promoting bulimia, anorexia and self-harm are horrible, but I’ve come to understand that some content has to be horrible, so horrible and real that those who read it will be so disgusted and appalled that they will never do it themselves and hopefully will try to prevent others from doing it. It gives an honest insight as to how much these people suffer and are going through. Censoring such content only limits the view on how vile these acts are.
The internet is about freedom, all of it. There are thousands of websites that promote a horrifying or dangerous act, but just like censoring and banning books, it’s gonna backfire. Some people need to know how horrible something is so that they can build a unique perspective to fight against it. Or at least they should.
Update: I fully support option 2. Raising awareness is always a great step towards these types of issues.

I don’t upload too many videos through Tumblr, so had never seen this wonderful design in the processing page!

Gif directed towards the amount of likes/reblogs my last gif got!
Really like making gifs, but I find Tumblr’s restriction about posting them a little harsh so may not make them too often or unless they are really good. Last one for now!
