  • Stocking: the new planking.  I think it’s a great idea not only to people who have nothing else to do but to photographers wanting to improve their technique. It’s true in Picasso’s words that good artists copy but great artists steal, however in this case good works well enough to help improve your own methods of photography—to see the difference between professional work and your own side by side and to have a first-hand understanding of the work it took to take the photograph.
