It appears Apple has finally reached the huge milestone of 25 billion apps downloaded.
According to the official App Store twitter, they will be announcing the winner soon. If you were downloading an app between 12 PM to 1:30AM Central, you may have been the lucky $10,000 iTunes card winner!

Interesting app that tells you who your “Most Valuable Follower” is. It made me realize that I’m actually being followed the official Angry Birds account. How crazy is that? Now I want to slingshot a couple of birds… brb.

The new Twitter for iPhone, formerly Tweetie, is amazing! The icon now perfectly matches my social apps, something I couldn’t get with Tweetie’s grey icon. I still miss Tweetie, however, in the name. I always thought it was the perfect name for a Twitter app, but what can I do? The new Twitter app also has some new features which actually don’t require any account! I recommend this all 100%!

Did you know Apple’s App Store is about to reach 25 billion downloads?
That’s a lot of apps!
Not only do they have a live app downloads countdown on the Apple website, but a live countdown right inside the App Store!
Just like with the billionth downloaded app contest, Apple is ready to hand out a $10,000 iTunes card to the lucky person who downloads the 25 billionth app. If you haven’t been on the App Store in a while, make sure you check it out this week and get downloading (alternatively, you can also fill out a form if you don’t want to download anything here).
The prize may not be cash but who doesn’t want to be the privileged owner of a $10,000 item?

Twitter released a new version of both their site and app. I’ve yet to see the web version but if it’s as good as the app makes it out to be, I’m sure to like it.

If you are an Instagram user like myself, then you must check out a new site that’s making a name for itself. It is called Statigram, and it shows statistics and metrics about your Instagram profile:
- How many photos you’ve posted
- How many of your photos people have liked/commented
- Which filters you have used the most
- When you’ve posted the most
- Which tags you have used more often
- And much more!
All is shown in simple, colorful graphs that are easily readable. As of the moment, however, some stats seem to be inaccurate as per personal count but I don’t doubt the developers behind the site are eagerly fixing all the small bugs to create a great, statistical experience for IG users all around.
